Under My Umbrella

Blouse & pants: Zara - Shoes: ALDO - Bag: Ri2k - Hat: NoaNoa - Necklace: H&M - Bow ring: Front & Co.

My first ever outfit pictures taken in the rain (you can't really tell in the pictures, but it was pouring down). Considering all the people calling the city "Raincouver", rather than Vancouver, I am sure this wasn't the first and last time. It will be a challenge to find a spot every time to prevent the camera - and my dear photographer (the bf) - from getting wet, as taking pictures inside the house isn't really an option. We are still in the middle of collecting furniture and, well, decoration is non-existent in our apartment for now...

I might try to do some DIY projects for fall. With all those fun things I see passing by on Pinterest I feel quite inspired. Whether I will actually be creating some pretty deco myself - I am not too sure: I am one of those people with two left hands. Very unfortunate, because I always have these creative ideas in my head, but I can't actually bring them to life. And 'just trying' doesn't work out for me either, as my level of patience is below average when it comes to this... But who knows what will happen. Now that I am living in North America, I notice how Halloween is such a big thing here, and not to mention Thanksgiving, so it might be the perfect opportunity to just do it.

Hope you're all having a nice Sunday! I am loving cozy days spent inside, with a good book, catching up on everything online or watching movies/TV shows... Good times!

Wonderfully chic and classic outfit. I love how your purse practically matches the benches behind you. The hat suits you so well. I love it and I want it lol. I totally hear ya on the furniture front. I just moved internationally and I'm typing this on my new desk set up as we speak. I want to share pics of it with the world just because I'm so excited with it, but to be honest, there's not much to see other than utilitarian sparseness and I'm sure everyone could do without that! All in good time for the both of us I suppose! Look forward to your next post. xoxo

That's exactly how wet Sydney was last week! You look uber chic though, even if you did get caught in the rain!

I salute you for venturing out and taking pictures in the rain! I have been avoiding pictures for that reason (and by the time I get back to work it is dark already nowadays!). Perhaps I'll have to begin trying indoors.

OK I just blabbed for ages! You look super cute, and that bag!
