A "Thing To Wear"

Kimono coat: ASOS - Knitted sweater: Zara - Jeans leggings: Pieces - Booties: ASOSWatch: Michael Kors - Bracelet: ASOS

The kimono* coat and booties are still some of my (belated) birthday presents. Ordered them from ASOS before my birthday, but decided to go with the free shipping which takes about 8 working days. I was pleasantly surprised when the items arrived earlier than expected, though the 70 dollar customs charge was a bit painful. I also ordered a beautiful vintage inspired bracelet, but that one will be introduced in a later post ;-) Happy Wednesday!

 * = According to Wikipedia the Japanese word "kimono" means "thing to wear". There you go, some random fact.

cute booties - I've been craving for a pair like that. The heel looks super stable to walk in. Great for fall!

I hate the dreaded customs fee! It's nice now though some online companies give you an estimate beforehand and you can even pay it up front so there are no surprises.

i love the color of the kimono, its like a really pretty dusty mauve-ish pink. I cannot stand customs charges, they are so ridic! shipping charges are bad enough but I think it was worth it in this case, it looks like such a versatile piece.
