Now that I look back at this dress I really wish it was mine. It's such a fun pleated number, and I especially love the bare shoulders (I have a 'thing' for bare shoulders... and back). I have to admit though, while taking these pictures I couldn't have been more frustrated with the dress. Or actually, the wind. I had many Marilyn Monroe moments, but the unflattering kind with flashing, well, things I shouldn't flash in public ;-) That's ok though, I'll just add it to the list of "things we do to look pretty"... Have you ever had a moment like that?
See here also my beautiful Frenchonista clutch. I had been eying this one for quite a while and now it's finally mine. Just in time for summer! I took it with me all weekend - the sturdy high-quality leather makes it the perfect carrier for my heavy wallet, iphone and a few other small essentials.

I always love seeing these swap posts - I completely forgot that Veronika had brought this dress along, you look so at home it in that I was sure it was yours! I love the contrast of the bright green clutch from Frenchonista. And as for the wind, well... It definitely happens to us all. The shots you posted as really lovely, though :)

um, as for the MM moment, yups, it's happened more times than i can count so now i cut the legs off a pair of tights and wear them underneath like bike shorts. eases the worry about a inopportune booty flash ; )
