DIY vintage shorts (tutorial here)
Zara heels
H&M necklace
Kenneth Cole watch (similar here and here)
Forever 21 sunglasses

This past weekend was spent in the Okanagan with the bf's family. It's always great to visit them, especially in the summer as they live on a golf resort and the weather can be so great. I finally got a chance to hit the beach, enjoy the blue lakes and even tan a little. Believe it or not, these pictures were taken after my tanning session. What can I say... it's a good thing most people wear sunglasses in the summer because my skin is so pale that it reflects the sunlight haha!

And how do you guys like my new "DIY'ed" shorts? The bf thinks they look like an Easter egg, but I like them. Summer's about having fun, also with your outfits! :-)

I love the way your DIY shorts turned out! Okay, the colours are a bit Easter-ish, Graydon has a point... But Easter has the best holiday colours of the year, just saying :) Although if it were me, I probably would have paired them with a black top. But I love that you were brave enough to add more colour - this is definitely a high impact look!

LOVE the way your styled your DIY shorts! Very high impact, as Cee said, but it works so well, especially the pattern mixing and colour blocking!

totally amazing shoot Leonie! i love the magazine quality you bring to everything you do, it's sublime really. you look incredible, those legs of yours look a mile long! isn't the Okanagan a beautiful spot to refuel and breath in the freshest air?! Sean's got family there too and i always get excited when we get to take a mini road trip that-a-way.

i can spot a bit of golden tone happening, my fave thing is when all the tiny arm hair turns white blond, love the extra sparkle ;)

gorgeous palette of pale with bright pops, you are a beauty! xo ♥
